This club runs in partnership with EDC Active Schools who provide a weekly sports club in the local community. Its aim is to increase the number of children accessing a wider achievement opportunity. Children are given opportunities to learn new sports, participate in games related to these sports and develop their teamwork skills. Children work together to create games and activities for younger children. They are then given opportunities to create and run their own sports clubs in Hillhead for Primary 1 to Primary 3.
"I enjoyed working together and making up games we could play with younger children."
Ellie Primary 7

Breakfast club is offered to families in Hillhead to support them with childcare if they are in training, education or work. This club runs daily at 8am. The cost is £1 per day and the children are offered a variety of different cereals, toast, yoghurt drinks and juice. The children are encouraged to independently prepare their breakfast and tidy away.
Every Friday afternoon children in the upper school have the opportunity to run clubs for younger children.
